This leather handreel cover protects the line on your Daggerfish hand fishing reel while it's in your pack, keeping your line from getting tangled or abraded.

Handmade in the USA from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, these covers are a highly recommended add-on to all handreel purchases.

Details

Protect the line on your handreel when you're done fishing for the day. Here's how:

  • Remove the terminal tackle
  • Place the handreel cover at the top of your reel
  • Wrap the line twice around the reel
  • Secure the line with an overhand bow knot

This cover allows you to safely store the reel in a bag or backack without it getting tangled with other gear.

To protect the wood, line, and corks, make sure the reel is dry before long-term storage.
